Enforcing data residency with single-Region Claude Code on Amazon Bedrock

Amazon Bedrock introduces two paths to enforce single-Region data residency for Claude Code: Path 1 uses the Mantle endpoint with native single-Region routing in seven Regions (Ireland, Stockholm, Tokyo, Melbourne, US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon)), and Path 2 uses the classic Invoke API with an application inference profile, currently only supported in London (eu-west-2) for Claude Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6.
