Kimi K3 is now available in GitHub Copilot

GitHub announced general availability of Kimi K3, an open-weight model, in GitHub Copilot. The model offers frontier-level agentic coding abilities at a pricing of $3 per 1M input tokens, $15 per 1M output tokens, and $0.30 per 1M cached input tokens. It is hosted on Fireworks AI and available across multiple Copilot plans and tools. The rollout is temporarily paused due to a GitHub Actions incident but will resume.
